Biography
John Chiang received Bachelor degree from Tainan National Universityof the Arts in Taiwan
and with full scholarship for his Master degree of music from University of Florida.
He began playing piano at age 8, and has attended many performances and competitions before
attending to music conservatory in college. He received honorable mention for YAMAHA national piano
competition and also won the second prize of National Baroque Piano competition.
Being an active performer, John has appeared in numeralsperformances as a soloist,
chamber musician, and piano accompaniment in many music concerts, recitals, and even some
interdisciplinary performances with other artistic fields in USA and Asia.
John is currently a member of “TOPS”, a musician groupsponsored by Taiwanese agency “New Art, Inc.”
and has performed atthe Taiwanese National Concert Hall, Shanghai Fashion Week,
Hong Kong Art Festival, and Japanese Music Festival.
He is also experienced in educating for many years andstudents have been well received in US Open
music competition and United State International Music Competitions. Students were received many opportunities
to perform in CM branch honor recitals and convention recitals some of students even got accepted in SF conservatory
pre-college program to pursuit their further music education.
He is now the council member for Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC), Director for
Chinese Music Teachers Association of Northern California (CMTANC), and the member of Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM).
He also serves as piano judge for Certificate of Merit Piano Test.

Working with various musicians is always a pleasure and excitement. I've tried to keep performing as much as possible to make myself enjoy the music more
Student Recitals
Because of my love to performing, I always encorage the students to perform if they have chance to do so. The studio will host rectials each year and students must participate at least one recital every year.
